Broken Music Box (BMB) is a music box with automatic melody generation. At this stage
of development, it can only generate monophonic tones based on "knowledge" of
approximately 10 hymns.
Whilst the program is still at its primitive stage and is developed as a "toy" instead of a
tool, the program is capable of demonstrating artificial intelligence in computer creativity.
Creativity is often said as one of unique feature of human beings and traditional artificial
intelligence topics are often limited to practical problem solving (such as chess playing)
instead of exploring creativity topics.
Despite the aforesaid, a toy is always a toy and hope you enjoy the program.
